A bareboat charter is an arrangement for the chartering or hiring of a ship or boat, whereby no crew or provisions are included as part of the agreement; instead, the people who rent the vessel from the owner are responsible for taking care of such things.
Pros: Independency of itinerary, no reason to adjust or accept a third person around you.
Cons: As per definition you are responsible for everything. You are responsible for gathering the information, finding the proper yacht, organize your provisions, check the condition of the yacht, make sure no-one damages her, that the anchor is holding at all times, that the boat and crew are safe and happy at all times, that there is a berth to go to, that in case of emergency you are to deal with it or you know the right people to contact etc.
BAREBOAT CHARTERS are applied on sailing and motor yachts under 16 meters that can accommodate 4-12 guests. At least (1) sailing or motor yacht license / certificate of competence is required by the port authorities to let the yacht leave port. The yacht is handed to the client in accordance with a detailed list mentioning every single item of the yacht. The yacht is solely handled by the client (charterer) himself who undertakes captain’s “duty & responsibilities”, therefore, a refundable damage deposit is also left on a credit card before departure, as every client is supposed to bring back yachts & their equipment in the same condition he received them. No food or other services are previewed and the fuel consumption (minor cost) is all at clients due.
The bareboat charters are the core activity of our company. Fill in the availability request form and be one of the happy people who sailed with EASY SAILING

Since the motor sailers are mostly traditional wooden yachts, their sails can provide reduced cruising speeds making the simultaneous use of their engines necessary on the way. Yacht charters on motor sailers & on bigger motor yachts are both on a “fully crewed” basis and consequently, the level of service, the living space, the comfort and the charter conditions offered onboard the motor sailers are all similar to the fully crewed motor yachts.
?he?r big and obvious difference of a motor sailer is that everything one can see & do onboard such a yacht is characterized by unique style - a true, traditional, old-fashioned classic style where technology -although present- is not “showed-off”. They accommodate 6-12 guests, have a crew of 3 to 7 or more persons and gain a cruising speed of 9-16 knots. The fuel consumption is also much less compared to the bigger crewed motor yachts. In case the weather is rough, then sailing restrictions –as said for the motor yachts- equally apply to the motor sailers.

....but the catamaran is also the yacht

Let's consider in more detail the sailing yacht and a sailing catamaran.

Strangely enough, but the catamaran is also the yacht. Because the yacht is any vessel for rest. But what is the difference, what is the catamaran? It is the two-case yacht. The difference between cruise yacht and a catamaran approximately the same, as between the motorcycle and the off-road vehicle such as INFINITY.

The catamaran is a big and very comfortable yacht, it is practically the house on water. Some bathrooms (marine term is latrine), kitchen (marine term is galley) with a gas stove, big capacious lockers and the refrigerator, cozy big cabins with soft sofas, everything is created for the comfortable rest with friends or a family and even with small children. With the same length, as the one-case yachts have – the volume of inhabited space on a catamaran is twice more, because each of two floats is manned.

Unlike one-case yachts, the catamaran doesn't heel at a strong wave and wind (doesn't bend on one board) also moves on a water smooth surface smoothly. Therefore passengers of a cruise catamaran practically are not swayed and their stay onboard is at most comfortable. Small deposit of these courts allows to approach there, where common yachts can`t reach – to reserved shallow beaches with gold dust, and the hardware gives the chance to be in autonomous swimming far from a civilization incredibly long. Besides the catamaran consumes very few fuel and is able to sail, that does such rest economic.

Our catamarans are an ideal option for sailing cruise: as with friends and a family or partners in business. They are also good for romantic or honeymoon trips. In fact, catamaran is a hotel on water, but the hotel in which there are no neighbors and there is no noisy city behind a window (illuminator).
Smoothly cutting a smooth surface of water by the floats all shades of blue it will be as a magic carpet, which will transfer you to those surprising corners of light which you want. Only desire is necessary from you, and we by all means will carry out it. Fishing, diving, bathing or simply sailing travel with close people, either a noisy office party or celebration something scary important – only you can decide.
You formulate a task – we carry out it.

The smell of the sea, unusual sea declines, noisy parties of the coastal cities or lonely life, you will solve by yourself, and we will offer you a miracle which costs nothing to touch, even if the world is not enough for you.

Sail boats

Sailing yachts for charter can sail using their sails only (and/or their auxiliary motor) & achieve a cruising speed of 6-14 knots (almost equal to miles per hour). Smaller sailing yachts that are offered for bareboat charters as well, are up to 18 meters (60 feet) long, can accommodate 4-12 guests and into their the cabins only the necessary space for sleeping is found. Bigger sailing yachts perform charters on a fully crewed basis and they accommodate 6 to 10 guests, since luxury & room demands are increased compared to the smaller ones. Sailing yachts offer a sense of freedom and a feeling of direct touch to the sea and nature especially where beauty and seclusion is abundant. The sailing yachts can sail away no matter if the winds blow with force of 6 Beaufort or more (from November 2005 permission to sail can be given with 9 Beaufort of wind at the sole -given in written- responsibility of the captain of the yacht), and thus the sailing yachts are considered to be safer than the motor yachts. People who rent sailing yachts like to cruise under sails (usually without the noise of the motors) and their standards about luxury and service on board are different compared to the motor yachts. Sailing yachts are not as fast as the motor yachts are, but they offer other advantages. The real value and most important on sailing charters is that someone, can really relax, swim, snorkel, sunbath, etc. no matter the duration of the charter or how many islands you will visit.

Motor yachts are the vessels that can run only under their motor power. Smaller motor yachts i.e. up to 14m can go on bareboat charters, bigger ones go only for fully crewed charters. In general, the bigger the motor yachts are the more luxury one can find onboard.  In the motor yachts, there is more space in the cabins, the saloon and on deck and they offer various facilities (Ski water sports equipment, DVDs, Hi-Fi, sunbathing areas, etc)
They have a cruising speed of 13-25 knots (let's say miles per hour), and with this speed, they are in a position to visit quite many of places during a short period of charter time.
The fuel (diesel) consumption is an EXTRA considerable cost for the guests and varies a lot from one yacht to another. Smaller ones consume 60-140 liters per hour and bigger ones 360 to 650 liters / hour.
Let’s see an example for a long-weekend charter on a fully crewed motor yacht of 22m for 8 guests:
The distance from Athens (Alimos marina) to Aegina Island is 18 miles and the cost of a bigger motor yacht for this single route will be from 450 to 700 Euros. The charterer-client should calculate for his long weekend about 8 times the above distance of 18 miles - arriving at a fuel cost ca. EURO 4800, so that he will visit Poros Isl., Hydra Isl. and some swim or light-meal stops on the way.

Needless to say that the smaller the motor yachts are the less fuel they consume (in most of the cases).
It is really important we mention that when strong winds (5 + Beaufort scale) are blowing at the cruising area (it often happens in the Cyclades area) all motor yachts are to stay in port, as they can hardly sail in rough weather conditions or they are not permitted so by the marine authorities.

The Benefits of a Catamaran Compared to a Monohull
If you are in doubt whether to rent a catamaran or amonohull, discover the benefits of catamarans. The most important advantages of a catamaran over a monohull are stability, space which means more privacy, and finally catamarans have significantly shallower draft meaning you can get into more areas than sailing boats.

The benefits of catamarans.

Level, no heel sailing - sure, it is exciting and fun to sail at a 25 degree angle. For a while. After that, you start to feel a bit queasy. Catamarans rarely heel more than  5 degrees, which means offshore passages are less tiring, drink and food stay on the table, there are no balancing acts on deck, so it is less tiring, and there are less chances of getting sea-sick.
Another benefit of sailing a catamaran is its sailing performance - modern catamarans sail windward as much as 25% faster than a similar length cruising monohull, while off the wind it can go 75% to 100% faster than a monohull cruiser.
Shallow draft - catamarans have a shallow draft, you can go and sail in areas where monohulls cannot get into. Shallow draft also enables more anchoring possibilities - you can enter shallow anchorages, away from the crowds.
One important benefit of charter catamarans is their roominess - catamarans have large wide deck areas, cockpit is twice the size of a monohull, and a larger salon that's on
the same level as the cockpit, thus providing 360-degree visibility.
More space enables more privacy - catamarans have separate hulls with separate cabins. The cabins are usually located in the corners of the boat as are the heads, and are separate from the lounging areas and the galley. This basically means that everyone can find their corner on the boat and rest assured no one will bother them.
Probably the most important benefit of a catamaran is its unsuitability - catamarans are safer than monohulls. Modern charter catamarans need no ballast and are built of cored- sandwich construction, most are actually unsinkable. If for example, the holing the hull happens, a catamaran's sailing performance is not affected as the boat is sufficiently buoyant under even these conditions. catamaran still floats.
A catamaran's buoyancy also means that you cannot overcrowd it - so if you have been wanting to take alongside your own family, your friend's family, feel free to do so. Not only you will not overcrowd the boat, everyone will also havetheir own privacy.
